Perler Bead Minecraft Music Discs

Let’s make some Perler bead Minecraft music discs! I’ve made 4 so far (13, blocks, otherside, and precipice) and plan to complete the collection of 21 music discs over time. And then I suppose I’ll need a jukebox to keep them all in! Sign up for my email newsletter to get updated when I post new designs so you don’t miss it.

In Minecraft, I’m an avid music disc collector. A base isn’t a home until there’s a jukebox, a music disc, and a couple of allays to dance around to the music. (Psst… have you checked out my 3D allay out of Perler beads yet? TOO CUTE! And super simple to make. Just saying!)

The best part about making these music discs out of fuse beads is that you can copy them pretty much directly from their pictures on the Minecraft Wiki. In this post, I share what you’ll need to make one of these lovely Perler bead Minecraft music discs and how to build one on a pegboard.

Materials List

Beads:

  • 35 black fuse beads (I used Perler black)
  • 10 red fuse beads (I used Perler red) for the center of the “blocks” music disc; you’ll need other colors for the rest!
  • 46 dark gray fuse beads (I used Perler dark gray)
  • 14 light gray fuse beads (I used Perler gray)

All these colors come in the Perler 22,000-bead mega-bucket, which I personally think has the best “bang for your buck” when it comes to fuse beads.

Equipment:

  • Large pegboard (I used a large Perler Pegboard) — unfortunately, the discs are just 1 bead too wide for the small pegboards. But on the bright side, you can fit 4 music discs on 1 large pegboard at once. Woo!
  • Iron (I’ve used this one for years)
  • Parchment paper (the regular stuff works as well as the special Perler sheets!)
  • (optional but recommended) Perler Bead Tweezers

How to Make Perler Bead Minecraft Music Discs

The music disc is 14 beads wide and 10 tall, so you can fit up to 4 music discs on 1 large pegboard if you rotate your pegboard as you go. I like to place designs 1 bead off the edge if I can just to be safe.

That’s it! Pretty quick and simple. So, which Minecraft music disc will you make first? Let me know over on Pinterest or Instagram, and if you loved this Perler bead pattern, make sure you subscribe for updates to get my latest patterns in your inbox.

Until next time,
